Well it's been several months since I was settled into painting
on a regular basis, what with workshops, plein air classes, residencies,
home repairs and preparing home to rent for skiiers.
Also the winter exhibit at the Fleming Museum
of Design Build Movement in Vermont 1964 -1977 which
began with my house required some extra time with
photographer Jim Westphalen and his assistant.
Looks like I have no excuses now having driven across country
to Arizona stopping in with family in Maryland, Florida, and
friends in Biloxi, Mississippi. Crossing Texas always requires
a book on tape. Last years Team of Rivals was certainly apropos
for this year's candidate. I highly recommend it if you haven't read
Doris Hearns Goodwin's book.

As I have a Show of New Figures
scheduled for next summer,
I plan to work with models and the figure
this winter, and not doing any plein air in the desert.

I may work from some of my Vermont photos
if I want to break it up
but that'll be in the magic of the future~!

Softness

6" x 6" Oil on masonite

$99. + S/H

This blonde had amazing hair that was so prominent around her lovely face.
It was mesmerizing trying to paint the softness of it.
