Painting commission from iPhone of cat with a heart condition and her buddy who was grooming her.

I didn't have a canvas, and two young girls 7 and 10? asked if I could paint their cat while I was sitting at Red Barn Art Show last Friday. Not having an extra canvas I found this Kleenex box in my car, so I did it for them while their parents were dining.

My next door neighbor was off mowing someone's yard when a lightening storm began, and his cute doggy Sparkle made her way into my studio for comfort! We enjoyed each other's presence equally I'd say. The sun coming through my south skylight lit up a corner of the rug for a bit...

This was my second painting at the Glendale Plein Air Event.
The Clydesdale was named "Tatum" and he kept turning around as if to ask, "when are we leaving?" when they first arrived. I figured I'd better get as much information as I could when they first arrived, as they weren't parked much the rest of the time. Many folks hired the two carriages of the day and they were quite busy doing laps in front of the Civic Center.

and deserves every bit being immortalized in a framed portrait.
He lives at the Balmoral Inn in Biloxi, Mississippi,
a great place to stay where I did 6 murals a few years back.
