Elbow study - #9713 by Candy Barr
3 x 3 inches Oil on canvas board
4 x 6 approx inches Oil on wood
On the first Thursday of the month Billy Brauer's life drawing evening consists of short poses for 2 hours. So Billy joked as I did 10 small studies from 2 min long to 15 min long, "Candy not only does a painting a day, she does a painting every 15 minutes." Very funny

Stately Saguaros #1713 by Candy Barr

5 x 7 inches Oil on linen on board
$99. + S/H $10
Back painting in Arizona for the winter.
Due to computer difficulties with storing photos, it's been over a year of getting it straightened out, so I can post paintings again. The short version is size matters...and I don't mean my brain.
Seems like having all my photos on external HD was the way to go, with a new computer....and I must say, I still have the consolidation of folders, albums and what not to organize.
So accessing my past is still rather convoluted.
Let's see if I can at least post new work with regularity,
and thanks for those of you returning, or to new viewers!

Michael's father loved to watch the fights, and I grew up watching wrestling
with my sitter who knew everyone, and would cheer mightily.
I respect the conditioning and focus it takes to be a fighter,
but question my judgement about watching men hit each other for entertainment.

Cats on Kleenex Box - #82311
6 x 6 x 12 inches Oil on Tissue Box - SOLD
One Side
Painting commission from iPhone of cat with a heart condition and her buddy who was grooming her.
I didn't have a canvas, and two young girls 7 and 10? asked if I could paint their cat while I was sitting at Red Barn Art Show last Friday. Not having an extra canvas I found this Kleenex box in my car, so I did it for them while their parents were dining.
