2.5" x 4"Oil on wood
Had my Nudes & Figures opening tonight
with Friday ArtWalk in Burlington, VT
ARTSPACE at 150B Church St.
Studies and gestures through Nov 17.
Lots of traffic and since it opened Sept 5,
17 pieces have sold. I'm delighted and enjoyed
the enthusiasm it generated for the quick studies.
Most galleries are not too interested in nudes,
preferring landscapes or interiors, so this
was a great venue to display over 60 paintings!

Congrats on the show, Candy! All the paintings look lovely together.
ReplyDeleteThis one is great, too! I love all the colors you've used to show light and shadow.
Many thanks T. Isn't having a show a little like the recital for a musician? Nothing like having it all together in one exhibition.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your show. Sorry about the deleted comment. That's why I'm a painter and not a writer. Really like the small gesture paintings, and thanks for the tip on my blog.
ReplyDeleteStephen, most welcome for comments. And thanks for the visit!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for your kind comments.
Congratulations of a very nice display and the great sales.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see that so many will get the oppurtunety to see your work "live".
Again congrats.
And they make such an impact in these groupings. So nice to see them in the installation. It also shows people that they really should buy more than one to form their own grouping. Yes?
