Loop Rd Vista

8" x 10" Oil on hardboard

Gone to VT Fine Art Gallery
in Stowe Vermont

Temps in the forties, so wearing gloves, hat and coat.
Plein air not for the weak.
The colors are outrageous this week though.
When the sun is out in the morning, you feel as
though you're driving through a cathedral.

  1. Candy, Beautiful painting, great color. Do you know Martha Armstrong? She shows at Walter Wickiser Gallery in NY. She paints abstract landscapes of Vermont. You might like her work. We own a small wonderful painting of hers.

  4. Come on Down Cooper! Yesterday's rain and wind took alot of leaves down, but there's still breathtaking yellow and orange maples and red sumac. Even in the rain, making the bark darker in contrast to the canopy of yellow leaves.. so striking..
