Grand Canyon Dusk

24" x 36" Oil on canvas

There were some additional gold touches in the sky and
warming of the foreground shadow.
We're driving back to Vermont, and I have to stop
posting and painting, so next time Vermont.
Happy Spring all meanwhile.

  1. Hi Candy. Glad you stopped by my place, so thought I'd return the favor. Very good work.

What can I say about this that others havent already said? You know, I dont have patience either. The thing that I really appreciate about this piece is your use of blue in the fore. It's a wonderful touch. Cools things down and harmonizes everything. Nicely done.

  3. Tulsa! My home town. I understand it's a bit under the weather (Literally) from an ice storm. My dad tells me that loads of trees are nothing but trunks without limbs. Still, it's beautiful country around there. I especially like the area NW around Skiatook and Hominy.
