This library in Lin Lin Elementary school
in China was donated
in the memory of my
friend Ray Montgomery's son,
Ramsey Montgomery. a writer and educator
who resided in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam,
where he taught English.
I'm doing a memorial portrait
for him to be a stand up
that is going to be cut out with hot wire.
I still want to add the boat that
transported the books and shelves
to this very remote town.
very nice portrait, I really like the way you paint.
ReplyDeleteI like the added pictures with each project. : )
That's a nice portrait.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dominique and Mary. I never know how much to elaborate above and beyond the posting of the painting. Life can extend way beyond the final picture no??!
ReplyDeleteGreat paintings, I like your style VM!!
ReplyDelete~ Merci beaucoups ~ Helene!
ReplyDeleteHi Candy! Looks like you've been busy. Can you believe it's fall already!?! Please tell me that all the leaves haven't fallen off the trees over there yet!?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words about our new baby boy. We're doing well over here in Vacationland, but the vacation is over...for the moment.
All the best friend,
Cooper
I agree... cool portrait...
ReplyDeleteI did give the completed cut out portrait to his dad, Ray who did like it too. Portraits are especially rewarding when the family love them too.
