Michael's grandson was up all week learning to fish. They took a canoe out to Blueberry Lake and the Waterbury Reservoir and I painted near the launch. What nice halcyon days!

Every now and then making a painting that goes
outside of the box seems like a good idea. Sometimes working within
the frame can be limiting. Mixing it up.
I made portable "shrines" for
Bread & Puppet's Cheap Art during one week years ago,
that incorporated mixed media collapsible
"installations". They were immediate to make and fun.
This mixed media simply incorporated a landscape "emerging+"
I should more of these.
