Cathedral Rock - Sedona

11 x 14 inches Oil on canvas

The early morning light was behind the rocks so they were VERY dark, lightening as the morning progressed from the east, to my right.

The local gas station has this pop machine which promotes this view as well.

Cathedral Rock - Sedona

11 x 14 inches Oil on 1 inch wrapped canvas

$375. + S/H

This week I made my last trek
in Sedona for the classic plein air outing.
Here's one of those vortex spots in Sedona
you here them talk about so excitedly.
It really is pretty fantastic from any of
the views along the river.

Courthouse Rock ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bell Rock
These are a couple of other local spots
viewable by car coming into town

~Feel the vortex~

Cairn along the river
(hundreds of them!)

and like all great hide aways,
the roads are being enlarged
to handle the incoming traffic
on Rt 179 with bike paths too

Beaver Creek, Sedona

8" x 10" Oil on canvas panel

I like the abstract qualities of this rushing water.

$225. + S/H

Diane Scholar and I lasted about 3 hours painting plein air today at

Beaver Creek, Sedona
It was 41 degrees when we started and we stopped as it started
raining then snowing! Advanced plein air.. feel the vortex!
