Moose at Mountain

12 x 12 inches Oil on canvas SOLD
$595.

Plein air at the Stowe Mt Golf Course
I had fine day doing demo for the Stowe Arts Festival. I set up in front of the Golf Cottage, after meeting the Golf Pro Ron Philo. The practice green is right below me next to the cart bridge. I've started a moose painting in my studio, and couldn't resist throwing one onto the putting practice green...some folks would later ask " Oh, we missed the moose!"
Maybe that's the point of buying paintings ~! You'll have the moment in time always~
It's at my gallery in Stowe, Vermont Fine Art Gallery and looks pretty fine.

Topswing Back

8 x 10 inches
Oil on canvas SOLD

This is from 5 years ago and fun isolating movement of a golfer! It's not that easy capturing all the nuances of the weight and twists.

10th Hole- Mountain Club Stowe - Spruce Peak

12" x 16" Oil on canvas

Available framed at VT Fine Art Gallery

Detail

There's just the right amount of skiing reference with Mt Mansfield and trails in the background and golf predominating in the summer. The cast shadows from the right
were dramatic relief to all the green... Oh the horror*..(*the greens - see 2 posts ago reference)

This is looking over at 13th green and 14th Tee box

dislike of using green.
