Boothbay Harbor, Southport Yacht Club- #7311

8 x 10 inches Oil on Canvas

$225. +S/H

I didn't really pick up on the continuity of the line throughout the foreground house and background one. It's such a busy scene I guess that line just simplified the design for me..?

The start of morning with the Maine Plein Air Painters in Boothbay Harbor at the Southport Yacht Club. What a wonderful cove of boats and activity! There was a workshop going on for the young future instructors of sailing at various Yacht clubs going on.

the Windjammers were in town in the afternoon!

This is view of inlet so cozy. Later in summer this will be too busy for a group like us to gather in this spot, so it was nice of the Yacht Club to have us last week.

What a great group of painters in Maine! Every Wednesday if you're in the area.
