Crystal #22613 by Candy Barr

 8 x 10 inches Oil on canvas

These two were done from Monday night model at the Scottsdale Artists School
I'll reverse the order tomorrow. I did the smaller one first from farther away, and like it for the shapes throughout the pose. She had a lot of drapery on her that would naturally change after each 20 min break. The closer one on top I was focusing on her likeness probably too much.

Drying Off

8 x 10 inches Oil on canvas board SOLD
We had a bet who could bring less stuff, the loser had to do a portrait of the other.
I lost in nearly every category: food, clothes, studio, etc!
So this was my payment to Gail, knowing she would never sit ...
so I told a photo of her and did the painting from it.

Here's some of my paintings I did while I was in Maine with the mackerel on the platter in the center 24 x 18 inches. I'm in the process of framing them now to get to my galleries.

Hannah Victoria Bedford

8 x 8 inches Oil on masonite SOLD

Hannah looked cute as a button to paint.
So after I had finished painting our model
one night...I painted her while she
was still working on her painting of the model.

She is sorely missed from our sessions.
